nearest cat 200 m or more behind me
need to turn right
i indicate 200m from the corner and start to slow down
i move over to the right (single)
there is a passing lane width extra piece that allow you to pass cars turning right
i am waiting as there is on going traffic

i am stopped awaiting a gap
suddenly there is a screech of tyres behind me( i immeddiately jammed my head back against head rest)
he swerves left and yells some abuse
i am stopped and indicating (yes they work i checked)

i am still waiting
and another car does the same thing
use your eyes car stopped, waiting and indicating is not the bloody #$$^%^$% hazzards people that are no aware are

good news is that some advice saved 2 of my friends from serious damage
stopped whiplash in a rear end
and stopped a friend who has a bad back due to a fall at work from major injury when t boned

thsi is the advice i learned it at advanced driving a long time ago
it will take some training

here it is (ma it save you too)

when you put you foot on the brake push you head back into the head rest

simply and easy and will take some time to learn you have to do it consciously for 21 days or more to imprint in you automatic body action

drive well keep your awareness high
drive like no one can see you and that every oone brakes dont work

funny things always happen in the car

travelling long mirrabooka ave
in left lane
a friends car in the right take off at lights flat out
i pull up to the next set of light
kids winds down the window (actually its electric)
and says we beat you my dads faster than you
this happen several times sped off the lights doing more than 60 (i clicked the cruise control on at 60) so it was more as he pulled away caught up to at lights

i thought no more of it until today
i see them today he apologises for being late
kids informs me daddy lost his license
how i ask
the other day got hit with mutli nova and pulled over after we left you
he had exceed his dermits due o speed

really wanted to say

not a another car story

well yes it is

but hold on it a good one

in left lane there is bus in front of me that pulls over into bus stop
so i look in mirror see a car next to me
i slow down and indicate that i wan to move in the next lane
think the car next to me would continue on and i would slot in behind
however he slowed down and let me in

the good news in a little tike up the road i had the opportuntiy to let him in
in similar circumstance with another bus

thought she was fanning herself
no she was hiding from teh sun
tryig to drive one hands all over the road
was strange sun on passenger seat not on drivers face
flash car with tinnted window
she was like a paper ninja

people rarely think of others, and think they rule the road

it happen 5 times on thurs

approaching a round about i check the roundabout and to my right
there is a car on roundabout and car approaching from the right
so i give way (standard road rules)
and several times the driver give me a look like you better stop
however 5 times the driver coming from my right failled to give way to the person on the roundabout
crash boom bang
one even tried to say it was my fault, that he thought i was going to drive though
(no hard braking just easy stop and give way) other witnesses cleared me and backed up my story
no serious injuries

coming up to a red light some 4-5 car in front of me stopped at light
so i slow down
no problem here

except for the guy behind me that going off in nice french (@##$%%@!@%^#!) about me stopping

common courtesy

you are driving up the back of my car you are so close that i could reach bach back and change you cds

come up to a traffic light, t junction or roundabout all with car on it, passing or red light so i put my foot on brake to slow down (not hard not fast just to avoid ploughing into other cars

but its my fault and the guys behind me are giving me the one finge salute and givign me some choice 4, 5 and maybe 6 letter words

and several times passengers have started gettign out of the car
one the driver pulled him back in
one i think could read the signs saying real world self defence
one today i was saved when i stopped at lights behind other cars and both the passenger and driver got out of the car
and lucky for them the light went green

there was a mad scramble for them to get back in the car

learn to drive and dont run up my ass then get upset when i stop

so a lady come up behind and tries to initiadate me
either to speed up or pull over
she going nuts and she cant get into the right lane
and i am not playing the game

eventually she get in right lane
guy dart around and tail gate her
she is freaking out trying to shake him so they speed up

another cop cars pulling her over

i see lots of stupid, law breaking and annoying things on the road but never a cop in sight. we need more cops out and about on the road AND they have to stop people for their wrongs and chat them or give them a ticket. I reckon our roads are bad because people knwo you hardly see cops and if you do, they rarely do anything. Animal you must travel clsoe to a local cop shop

on a large not waiting on the a large roundabout 2 lane i am in the left lane

i am following a another car about 4 car length behind

so theis car enters the roundabout and pulls out in front of me
i slam on the brakes

and then you rarely see this

while i am on roundabout nearly stopped but getting going havign avoided accident (awareness is good as is good brakes0

a anothoer car darts in between me and the pusha-in-er
